Your bills, account names and balances, notes, spending logs, preferred sign-in method, and local Settle account record are stored in this browser on your device. This build also stores the Plaid connection settings and access token locally so the bank connection can be reused.
When you connect a bank, Plaid may process information needed to connect and identify the account, financial-account information such as balances and transactions, and technical information such as IP address, browser, device, network, and location-related data depending on the Plaid service and your bank. Settle currently requests bank balance and transaction data so it can update balances and categorize recent spending.
Plaid privacy information ↗Supabase provides Settle account authentication. It processes the email address used for your account, password authentication, verification and session information needed to keep you signed in securely. Settle stores only a protected PIN verifier in Supabase; the five-digit PIN itself is not stored as readable text.
Supabase privacy information ↗Settle does not need your bank username or password directly. Bank credentials are entered through Plaid's connection flow. Account sign-in and verification are handled through Supabase. Plaid and Supabase control their own data handling under their respective policies.
